About Us

Becoming part of the Floral Design/Greenhouse management Program is an opportunity for you to combine your creativity with a sense of business, service and fun.  Students learn about growing, marketing and designing with flowers and plants. 

In the Floral Design/Greenhouse Management Program, Lehigh Career and Technical Institute students have a chance to gain work experience at functions such as the Allentown Flower Show, through internships with local florists and greenhouses during the holiday seasons and throughout the year. During these internships, students are able to work at local businesses where they can be teamed, one-on-one with an experienced mentor. 

In today’s Floral Design/Greenhouse Management job market; there is a growing demand for experienced employment candidates who have business skills as well as horticulture knowledge.  With this in mind Lehigh Career and Technical Institute instructors and counselors work to help their students prepare for higher education at a college, university or specialty school.  Our mission is to arm students with a basis that will help them achieve the highest career success.
